Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with at least one year and above professional experience to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, monitoring transactions, and ensuring all financial activities are carried out in accordance with organizational financial policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant experience

• Quantity Required: 2

• Salary: - As per the center's scale

• Working Condition: - Full-Time

• Location: Tazma Medical and Surgical Specialized Center

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.

• Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, and payment documents.

• Monitor daily financial activities and ensure proper documentation.

• Prepare daily, monthly, and periodic financial reports.

• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and financial records.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards.

• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and reports.

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.

• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

• Ability to use accounting software, computers, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Good organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.

• Practical knowledge and experience using Peachtree accounting software.
