Accountant (Maternity Leave Cover)

Company Profile:

ELC Electroconsult S.p.A. is an international engineering consulting firm based in Milan, Italy, and actively operating in the engineering sector in Ethiopia.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Core Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for the ELC Addis office.
• Financial Tracking: Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, fixed asset schedules, and the general ledger.
• Reporting: Prepare financial statements and perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reviews.
• Tax & Licensing: Assist with tax audits, prepare tax returns, and handle payroll/labor tax payments. Manage the annual renewal of the company's Business License.
• Banking & Payments: Maintain strong relationships with banks and execute timely payments to staff and suppliers.
• Office Administration:
• • Manage the Addis office document management system.
  • Assist the team in drafting official documents, letters, and reports.
  • Maintain schedules, contacts, and calendars via Outlook.
  • Coordinate office communications (receiving, distributing, and mailing).
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and inventory levels.

 Location: Kazanchis, around Ellily Hotel, Addis Ababa  

Contract Duration: 8 Months (Initially, with a possibility of renewal)

Salary: Net 19,000.00 ETB
